ABOUT THE ARTIST

Iris yahel is the owner of the Yael Gallery studio where she teaches glass art in Moshav Sde Moshe, Lachish. She is a glass art teacher at the Warzberger College, Rumat Gunn

A glass artist and sculptor who uses glass casting and hot glass casting, fusing, glass beads, and glass mosaic to combine paper and glass arts; and working with materials that reflect the spirit of the times and the atmosphere.

Designs and creates environmental public projects in glass – mosaic and fusing.

Yahel was sent by the Jewish Agency to give a workshop in Mosaic Art in Chicago USA.

Iris is one of the few Israeli glass artists who have gotten scholarship and was invited to Corning company to study a new technique in glass.
