ABOUT THE ARTIST
Varda Yatom is a talented Internationally Ceramics sculptor. Varda has had more than 20 solo museum exhibitions and more than 70 groups’ shows in New Zealand, Germany, Turkey, Japan the United States and Israel. Varda was invited to show at the Armory, NY in the show of the art dealers association of America. She was invited to participate in the exhibition “Top Artists of the World” at the International Museum of Ceramic Art in Faenza Italy.
Yatom’s works was chosen to represent Contemporary Israeli Art in a solo show at Hetiens International ceramics museum in Dusseldorf, Germany. The Israeli Department of culture has awarded Varda the much coveted prize, the “Israeli Artist Award” for her valuable and prolific work. Yatom was invited to be a resident guest at the Skleaskor art center, Denmark, the Ashland University in Oregon, USA.
Her work has been published and included in a number of Art Books. Many articles have been written about her pieces in many countries.
Varda lives and works in Kibbutz Sasa in Northern Israel.
